Singa-pura Trip

Finally headed down to Spore wif ling2 to meet our sporean frens :D

Day 1 -- We arrived there on the 12th, prob 4 plus & it was raining..waited for JJ at novena sq & chilled till 6pm only left..zhilin has to help out in the pre-departure briefing, so JJ, fawn & Ian entertained us for the 1st nite..we had laksa steamboat smwhere at Harbourfront. YUM !!!

after dinner, we had a walk at henderson wave..its actually a sky bridge wif nice architecture..lepak again till 10plus..& back to JJ's aunt's place. Zzzz

Day2, woke up early & gathered at vivo city..zp was late!! -.-

anyway we took monorial to sentosa island..went for desperados & water log ride..hmmm just normal, kinda felt cheated for the money we've paid! nt really worth it..haha then we continue walking ard & take pics..

After lunch, we went back to take a shower b4 gathering at fawn's place..

celebrated Ling2's bday there, & depart to night safari right after that,
without having our dinner..zhilin fetched us there in fawn's mum's car..& zp fetched us back

it was great spending time there, looking at most of the animals..
i like the flying squirrel..i actually saw them "flying across" from 1 tree to the other..

we ended our 2nd day with a supper at a mamak store smwhere near fawn's place.

Day 3 - dropped by to meet JJ's mum, then headed to zp's big big hse..played taboo there till 1 & decided to leave for lunch, b4 hitting back to KL again..

My sem2 Break :D

After a long long study period in semester2, we finally have a BREAK !!..

Friday nite itself, i went to lifegroup as usual, & after that we stayed back to help Ivy with some preparation..bcoz the next day is her BIG BIG DAY :D

Saturday..

Ivy & Ian's wedding

apparently this is their 3rd ceremony..

1 in Msia, 1 in Spore, & the final 1 in Melb..

cool rite..hehe

The crowd is simply too big to squeeze every1 into the chapel..

so some gentlemen had to stand outside wif the umbrellas as it was was raining..

The medical lifegroup ppl..whom are all under Ivy the bride :D

Sunday...

BBQ at Juyu's hse..somewhere at Boxhill..which took us at least 45mins or more to arrive..but its worth it definitely :D we had many yummy food..love it man..

They are my course mates :D or at least, doing similiar units..

& never the less, dessert!!

ginli's cheesecake is so yummy man..

& yes, this is the reason y im so fat now..but yea, eat first :P

we camwhore most of the time..

took almost 100pics..mainly faces of us..but memories :D

MON, TUES, WED, THURS..everyday also will visit my 2nd home for few hours at least..

but anyway,

TUES...

after library, zhilin came over my place for a while, & after that jogged wif zl, ling2 & yuwan ard my area..surprised to hear me joggin rite..i know my stamina is dam weak>.<>

these 3 master chefs is gona bake layer cake, actually is mangyik that gal who wants to bake her sarawak layer cake..using her mum's recipe..

busy busy..

but after that we didnt know how to operate the oven, not sure with the settings, & afraid if its bottom fire, the cake will burn..

so ended up we walked to my place 2gether & use my hse's oven..

WED...

supposed to go to boxhill, but then ended up nothing..lol..but still, at least i went to glen for dinner wif JJ :D again, MAKAN !! LAKSA wif lots of ingredients..by the time i finish..gosh~~ bloated edi...more calories

THURS...

played badminton wif the lifegroup frens..so nice :D & dinner at glen once again..

meaning, FOOD again..thts my life, always associated with FOOD..hahaha..

so tired rite now..more stuff to do 2mr..hehe at least im not rotting during my holidays..1 week is not enough!! argh..but oh well, it means that, my exams are nearer, 1 month away..crap!! but on the bright side, im going back msia soon too!! yay ~~

3 weeks of holidays is coming to an END..no~~~

I enjoyed so much during the holidays, & thinking that I have to drag my feet back to uni, its quite saddening..

Anyway, some little things that I've done thru out the holidays..fr week2 onwards.

9/7 - 12/7

SIFE national conference 2009 - Sydney Sofitel Hotel

This is the Monash team :D

but im only the "kelefe" there..basically 70% act as observer only..only 6-8 presenters. lol

No doubt, I learnt something from this trip, which I cant get by sitting in the uni's lecture hall.

& its so inspiring to listen to other young ppl's idea..ppl who are so ambitious & kind, always thinking of ways to lend a helping arm to the needs..

anyway, Monash managed to get into semi's..Western Aus took the crown once again by being the champion for the 2nd time..(if im nt mistaken) , Melb uni was 1st runner up.

we went for Korean BBQ during 1 of the dinner.

with the..KOREANS..lol..we met new frens there..

Another cool thing abt goin to Sydney is that,

Im able to meet up wif this guy here..

can recognise who he is?

He is KEVIN !!

He treat me dinner & brought me ard..too bad Im only free on the last day's nite..

but he actually waited for me..luckily he managed to catch the nite bus, or else have to wait for another hour or so.

Happy Birthday Darling !!

I arrived Melb on Mon ( instead of SUN due to some stupid reason, u know.. ),

& then these frens of mine just rang me up & said wana make eggtarts..

Was kinda lethargic, but still, I invited them over without hesitating..

& we had lots of fun baking..& eating..

they do look like eggtarts rite? coz there r ppl who said they r cupcakes 0.0

the next day..after a nite at my place,

we continue wif our "mission" by going to the supermarket & grab some food for later nite's

STEAMBOAT dinner

Its really cheap to cook on our own..we should have it more often :P

typically msian style..coz if we were to have that at the restaurant, its gona cause us to pay thru our nose man..

& so we overnite at Rem's place till the next day's evening, I decided to leave..lol

without fail,

we met up once again to Mt Dandenong..

the scenary is really awesome..NATURAL is the word..

& we took couple of train rides from stops to stops..

& took lots of pics..

at last, we went up to some "skyhigh" place, where we can view the city in a whole..i think it will be even greater if its at nite, with those lightings.

"touching heaven?" lol..

& its is freaking COLD up there..apparently its only 3.5 celcius..

& look at our dressing, as if its 15 celcius..haha

Got home after dinner wif them, which is quite late edi..The min i on9, kaboom..my mood fluctuates like mad..bcoz results for sem1 is out !! omg 0.0

my hand were shivering..I duno y also..its only 1st sem, but still, im taking it so seriously..plus, after knowing some of my fren's results, Im even more nervous..& keep reminding myself to set my goal lower..haha..oopss..just so that i wont be that dissapointed later on..

fortunately it wasnt too bad :D

& so, the next day morning once again..

I thought I will be able to shop for my groceries, but i ended up going out with my hsemates Mega, Linda...we had lunch 2gether then headed to Southland shopping complex..

anyway I really enjoyed every single day of my holiday. I ate so so much !!

almost every single day. I know the min u look at my pics, u will be like, omg, hw what happen to u? have u been eating non-stop every single day?

haha..but yea, once uni starts, then can control a bit :P

2day is Sat morning, 1 & a half more day,

Im gona make the fullest out of it!!

- SAT -

I went to the City & scout ard..from morning till evening..a very good exercise :D

by time i reach home, im half dead..tiring~~

- SUN -

Followed my lifegroup frens to their church.

First time tho..just to have a look how isit like..& met more frens there..

& after that, head to Clayton town to buy a bday cake for my fren. & went to queenie's hse.

I wasnt there to taste the nice yummy food bcoz...

I went over to yunn hsieh's place for dinner!!

& to meet up my dear fren mandy who just came down to Melb fr Adelaide..

& ard 8plus, mandy got to catch a train back to the city, & so we left..

& instead of going home, I went back to the same place & celebrate for my fren..apparently i dun really know her. Its more like a fren's fren =.= but yea, just for fun..

& i overnite at lingling's place..

- MON -

without much of rest, continue with the next outing >>> Ivy's place...that Dr Ivy had a day off so she invited over to her new hse for lunch :D

- TUES -

Still never ends, have to go on duty for my SIFE club fund raising thingy..in order to get free accomodation in Sydney, every1 have to duty at least 1 day..& so today is the day..woke up early, get there & started off pretty well..

The weather is kinda cold, but while we are bbq'ing the sausages, its hot inside..how to take it man..just hope that i dun fall sick..so yea..kinda tiring..yet i can still go over to another fren's hse..& stay till evening :P

OK, this shall be the last time i blog till im back from Sydney..Im not sure how much will i enjoy during the national conference, But hope I will equip myself with more knowledge & communicating skills experience after this trip..Im always worry about getting sesat during the conference>.<

Really need more rest & i shall guai guai stay at home & pack my stuff 2mr..

ITS HOLIDAY !!

OMG, after the long marathon of studies & exams, it finally came to an END!
cant imagine it..Im so so relief right now..a big big..PHEW ~

I dun need to stare at the books anymore, at least fr this couple of weeks.
I dun need to go to the library & stay there fr 9-5 as if im working..smtimes even longer-.-

Just enjoy for the time being :D

& so right after our exams, we went to sophia to celebrate Eva's bday..pizza, pasta..yum!

actually every1 was kinda tired & half dead edi..lol..yet we still drag ourself to the city & take some sticker photos..

she's 1 of my closest buddy in biomed course..so glad to know her..

Day 2

my biological clock woke me up at 7 plus, & i thought i will sleep till quite late in the morning..yet, eyes open widely at 7plus..so just decided to get up fr bed & go on9..

& so i saw clement was on9, just said hi to him, & nex min, he asked me whether wana join him & his frens in city or nt..& so, i just joined along since im free for the day..quite random but its nice, no need to plan so much, smthing that took us less than 5mins to decide..

& so met at 1 of the station, & apparently in melb, there r diff zones, & legally, we have to purchase diff tickets for diff zones..but we wanted skip paying for zone 2 since its only 1 stop. LUCKILY we hold out steps back & didnt board the train that early..i was saying, if they board, we dun board..true enuf, coz the police officer enter the train to check the ticket! if fine, means 100plus edi..hehe..WE ARE SAFE!

& so firstly, we head to a so called msian style kopitiam to have our lunch! they have LASKA there!! so excited & just ordered it..haven tried any ever since i came here..so yea..

& we went to vic's market..& clem was so crazy abt CHOCOLATE..

kept on buying..

& next we took tram to flinder's street, then head to..errr

they are clem's frens..& apparently, they are the 1 who brought us ard..the girl on the left is from perth, yet she knew more places than WE do..haha..clem's uni at city okay, i have a reason for not getting familiar wif the city *just an excues tho*

after shopping, then we went to san churro for this !!
double YUM..but clem said is nt his type of food..

& tabao sushi for dinner..basically, MAKAN & shopping day ~~

to compensate my jail life for the pass 1 month..

hehehehhe
