Finally headed down to Spore wif ling2 to meet our sporean frens :D

Day 1 -- We arrived there on the 12th, prob 4 plus & it was raining..waited for JJ at novena sq & chilled till 6pm only left..zhilin has to help out in the pre-departure briefing, so JJ, fawn & Ian entertained us for the 1st nite..we had laksa steamboat smwhere at Harbourfront. YUM !!!

after dinner, we had a walk at henderson wave..its actually a sky bridge wif nice architecture..lepak again till 10plus..& back to JJ's aunt's place. Zzzz

Day2, woke up early & gathered at vivo city..zp was late!! -.-

anyway we took monorial to sentosa island..went for desperados & water log ride..hmmm just normal, kinda felt cheated for the money we've paid! nt really worth it..haha then we continue walking ard & take pics..

Special thx to JJ..for the accomodation :D

After lunch, we went back to take a shower b4 gathering at fawn's place..

celebrated Ling2's bday there, & depart to night safari right after that,
without having our dinner..zhilin fetched us there in fawn's mum's car..& zp fetched us back

it was great spending time there, looking at most of the animals..
i like the flying squirrel..i actually saw them "flying across" from 1 tree to the other..

we ended our 2nd day with a supper at a mamak store smwhere near fawn's place.

Day 3 - dropped by to meet JJ's mum, then headed to zp's big big hse..played taboo there till 1 & decided to leave for lunch, b4 hitting back to KL again..

are we 2 years away from 2012? lol mathematically yes we are..but wht i meant was that dramatic 2012 wif all sorts of disasters..& imagine if smthing really hits our planet..kaboom & everything just gona be wiped out in the blink of an eye

k anyway back to reality, we may not know wht are we gona face the nex day tho..i just wish to know more things & live my life to the fullest while i can..im blessed & lucky to be in this family..& im enjoying lots in msia rite now..those kinda stress-free life..

Mixed feelings blenched in wheneva im thinking of the time i left b4 getting back to aussie..its good that i will start off my 2nd year..studying & learning stuff..equip myself wif more info..
but i dun like the fact that i have to be away from my family & frens again..
back to my lonely life..i felt lonely seriously tho i have nice & close frens there..

i finally had a look wif the units im undertaking this year..& those units seems fun..but once uni started, complains will be back again..lol
im still kinda undecisive abt the subjects which im majoring in..
immunolgy?
pathology?
pharmacology?
biochemistry?
everything sounds alrite for me >.<

i thought of majoring in pharm then do the honours..or immuno..
but incase im not allowed to advance in those respective field, there's always a very safe pathway <>
just the matter of whether im allowed to or not depending on the grades

so i start of my 2010 resolution with,
- study hard hard to maintain & improve my grades..GPA #
- must continue to gam fei & control diet >.<
- save more $$
- try to work part-time if possible ( hope to get summer scholarship to work during year end )
- go smwhere for holiday during breaks..hahaha

actually i cant really think of anymore goals to set rite now..the fundamental thing i have to do well in is my studies..be healthy & wealthy..mentally & physically..
know a little in music, in sports, in knowledge, in other hobbies, abt my frens..
all these will lead me to knowing a little about a lot !! my quote :D

I enjoyed the moment of "doing nothing & slacking at home"..dun need to rush for assignments, being updated wif lectures & nerd for exams..haha

& i was bz watching this spore drama (little nyonya)..many thoughts just came by as i was watching it..indulging in the movie & tears flow by..at least i was relief when the show ends..bringing me back to reality..it makes me think how fortunate i am to be able to undergo whteva i want right now..RIGHTS, education, freedom in speech, love & marriage..many many many things..

Anyway, will b away for holidays from 2mr onwards..more updates till then :D

Result was released last thurs evening & im glad that i managed to acheived the desired results..not to say really good, but knowing my own standard, im alrite wif that since i made so many mistakes during exams..

Anyway, I've been exercising..nt everyday bt alternate days..yet i still cant slim down -.-
I love swimming now adays..& at least i dun feel tired while im swimming..but it will take me longer time to wash my hair >.<

hmmm i watched 2012 ystd wif my family..its rather dramatic..but no doubt, things r happening to us..slowly but surely! tsunami is already a sign..bt anyway, we may not know wht's gona happen the nex min, the nex hour, the nex day!

so whine less & move forward !
learn to appreciate things & the ppl around me..
& take the fact that im still able to blog rite now as a blessing :D

Im tired, but i cant get to sleep..& my heart rate is kinda irregular..(SNS > PNS )
but dun worry, thts just normal symptoms during..exam period, or when, the result is releasing soon!!! either 2mr evening or friday..arghh..i dun like this kinda hanging feelings..but im under pressure now..duno y..have a feeling that i wont do that well this time =.=

i screwed up 1 of the big ques in biostats..mcq neuroscience, easy to pass, bt nt easy to score..genetics will b my weakest of all i think..leaving foodchem which i think shud b fine..
I know it is pointless to think abt it, since it has been marked..i cant change anything..perhaps im just thinking, & trying to convince myself that it will b fine..but i wont mind if the results r being released 2mr..at least get it done..oh well..no matter wht kinda results im getting, i can still proceed to 2nd year..as long as i passed all of them..so y stress?

It has been almost a week since the day I landed msia..The feelings being home is just awesome..

Landed on sat, & hit back to malacca straight..dinner wif 1 of dad's fren..

Rest day on Sun..going round hunting for more FOOD..

Met up wif few of my college frens - zhi jun keehao & celebrated kh's bday..ntg but FOOD again :D

Shopping day wif mum on Tues..half a day gone..when im just abt to on9, my high skool frens called me out for supper..nasi lemak at paramount..cum celebrating kaizen's bday..so off i went..but most importantly is still meeting back wif my frens..

Wed - badm! finally reaches the day where i can sweat it out..twins boey k.hao mabs..Lunch after that & met up wif ky too..as usual, wif the jokers there means non-stop laughing..
Still nt the end & we continued watching movie in the afternoon..since majority have watched most of the movies, & based on our timing, we decided to watch " The Box " at cathay..& ppl, dun watch it..i find it really STUPID..till the word "the end" appears, i still dun really get the show..ok mayb its a bit exaggerating, bt still, not worth watching =.=
Im gona watch other movies..so whoeva haven watch any movies & wants to watch it, call me out :P

Thurs - Hmmm i had a headache..ruin my day..but i still went out wif mum..& my relatives uncle auntie grandpa grand uncle came to KL all the way fr malacca..& the first thing they say when they see me is " wah, fei mui edi lor!! ..congrats! "
my aunty said : hw also will get fat 1 ar..
me : yeah, of coz..non-stop eating over there..this is the consequences..haha

Char kuey teu, chee cheong fun, wat tan hor, nasi lemak, yong tau fu, wan tan mee, chinese food, balinese food, sushi...
Haven eaten : japanese food, more chinese food, crabs, laksa, mee goreng, bak kut teh, curry food, many many more..

I need to exercise more..gym gym~~

2mr going back to malacca to celebrate my grandma's bday..

I have been waiting & anticipating for this day to come..
whenever im muggin my book
in my 2nd home library

I have been striving for so long
hoping that exams will go on smoothly
unfortunately it just went against ur wish
not all, bt there is..

I have been couting down to the number of days to liberty
the number of days to go back to my country
& reunite wif my friends and family
slowly but surely..
without realising, time passes by rapidly
& 2mr is the day in which my dreams come to reality

& so, I've ended my exams on the 16th of Nov..The min the clock strikes 4.40pm, pens down & all our papers were collected..that particular moment, i know im FREE..

The nex day itself, I went out with ling2, chyi wei & melissa to the city..for some last min shopping b4 going back...we spent quite a lot..but its alrite..

city > chaddy > home > ling's place > halls & yuwan's place > queenie's hse >

We may not be doing the same unit anymore, but i hope u can get to transfer to the course u desired..or at least, do something u like k!!

Vina, age wise u appeared to be young..& u do act younger too :P haha

but deep down in heart, the determintation & perseverance in you are just so powerful..

phewww just done wif 1 more paper 2day..which is food chem..50% relief now & another 50% more to go..

hmmm my 1st paper was kinda "dissapointment"..sigh..but just let it go..& on thurs while i was trying out on the past year ques, i seriously felt like im gona fail foodchem..coz i barely get to recall the stuff that i've studied..but luckily the paper was fine..hehe 3 days can make a diff man!!
& 2 more days for me to make a difference in my genetic paper & another 3 days for my neuroscience..all the last min brain storm-ing..i think my brain is gona explode soon..but yea, 1 week from now, im gona merdeka & not gona touch the book anymore till nex year!!

im kinda exhausted by now..im nt sure how long more can my body take it..plus the freaking hot weather!! melb's weather is crazy=.= it is so so hot that each time after a walk to & fro from uni, i felt feverish..ah its ok..1 more week 1 more week !! & i dun need to step into the library anymore..

i cant wait to go home..i miss my family & frens so so much..will cya guys real real soon!!

week 11 & week 12

hello bloggie..have been neglicting u for so long..anyway, just realised i haven been blogging abt week 11 & week 12..& up till now, nothing seems to come into my mind..what have i been doin lately? I guess is the same old sien routine of going to uni, lectures & labs, rushing for assignments & camp in the library for hours..at least, i dun have to camp alone..i have fren or frens wif me to sama sama camp :D Go Eilene..u r gona be my top library buddy for this sem's preparation..lol..& jerold & ling2 as well..

Anyway, we did this big 1m x 1m poster on trans fat..which took us 1 week to finish it..
too bad i got no idea whts wrong wif my hp, i just cant seems to transfer pics from my hp to the comp =.=

ohya, we celebrated belated mid autumn festival last Fri at our lg..it was just awesome to share that night wif frens..we played games & our team won..bcoz, we have great ppl & great brains in my team..hehehe..we actually played wif the lantern..a whole big gang of 30 of us? hold on to the lantern & went round the nearby neighbourhood..& the passer by must be wondering wht's wif this big group of young adults doing in the middle of the nite, at the middle of the street? lol...

but anyway, back to reality & I only have 2 more weeks to go b4 i start of my 1st paper..time is running short yet the adrenaline level is not high enuf to trigger the "anxiousness" in me..Perhaps there is..but i guess other form of distractions are pullin me back..but from 2mr onwards, I will only have to focus on studies..Im so so glad that i can finally get out of assignment life for the time being, at least, till the next sem..

The good news is,

Merdeka in 1 Month time since my last paper is on the 16th of nov,

Im going home on the 20th..

we celebrated Fawn's bday last nite..is her 21st bday!! hehe..happy bday girl!!

Back to reality, some of u might heard me saying, ' i need a break' weeks b4..but in the blink of an eye, its over..no more holiday-ing mood for me, but get back to more serious work now..when i went to uni this morning, i can hear every1 saying, that they barely do much revision over the break..haha..i think its normal..holiday is meant for us to rest & enjoy rite?? thats just a way to console myself..

Looking at the pile of notes, that I've to study over this 1 month plus to prepare myself for exams..shall i say it's demotivating or motivating? Despite studying it b4 that, but we tend to forget stuff..meaning, we have to re-read the whole thing again..bet many of u r into this kinda situation too..

i shall say--A journey of a thousand pages shall begins with a single flip of my notes..starting fr 2day!! haha...less than 1 month to my first paper..oh man >.<

oh well, it is possible for us to prepare ourself for the exams..not only to my uni mates, bt to every1 who still considered themselve as a STUDENT..haha..is the end of the year, & majority will be having their exams soon..so just try ur best & im sure u can do it:D at least, give it a best shot instead of saying, i got no time, i cant study..got to know that,
even if we are on the right track, we will get run over if we just sit there!!

After a long long study period in semester2, we finally have a BREAK !!..

Friday nite itself, i went to lifegroup as usual, & after that we stayed back to help Ivy with some preparation..bcoz the next day is her BIG BIG DAY :D

apparently this is their 3rd ceremony..

1 in Msia, 1 in Spore, & the final 1 in Melb..

cool rite..hehe

The crowd is simply too big to squeeze every1 into the chapel..

so some gentlemen had to stand outside wif the umbrellas as it was was raining..

BBQ at Juyu's hse..somewhere at Boxhill..which took us at least 45mins or more to arrive..but its worth it definitely :D we had many yummy food..love it man..

They are my course mates :D or at least, doing similiar units..

& never the less, dessert!!

ginli's cheesecake is so yummy man..

& yes, this is the reason y im so fat now..but yea, eat first :P

we camwhore most of the time..

MON, TUES, WED, THURS..everyday also will visit my 2nd home for few hours at least..

after library, zhilin came over my place for a while, & after that jogged wif zl, ling2 & yuwan ard my area..surprised to hear me joggin rite..i know my stamina is dam weak>.<>

these 3 master chefs is gona bake layer cake, actually is mangyik that gal who wants to bake her sarawak layer cake..using her mum's recipe..

busy busy..

but after that we didnt know how to operate the oven, not sure with the settings, & afraid if its bottom fire, the cake will burn..

so ended up we walked to my place 2gether & use my hse's oven..

played badminton wif the lifegroup frens..so nice :D & dinner at glen once again..

meaning, FOOD again..thts my life, always associated with FOOD..hahaha..

so tired rite now..more stuff to do 2mr..hehe at least im not rotting during my holidays..1 week is not enough!! argh..but oh well, it means that, my exams are nearer, 1 month away..crap!! but on the bright side, im going back msia soon too!! yay ~~

So, it was Remina's 20th & Wei Chong's 21st birthday celebration..

We celebrated at En Izakaya -Balaclava, which took us like an hour to arrive..

It serves japanese cuisine..but is very westernized..& we can c many ang-mo's go there..

This is a restaurant recommended by master cheft..

It was nice overall..We managed to surprised Rem..Thanks to tommy & mangyik who made it a success :D The crowd was just too big, that it was splited into 2 groups..

& the fun started when we r about to order the food..we shared our food in a group of 4..

zepeng : what should we eat..

we : anything..everything looks good..

some1 : y not we tried the pan seared duck breast..

we ordered some other food too..& every1 was ok wif it.

when the waiter is taking our order, we ordered 3 dishes, leaving 1 behind..

we : what about the pork ball? what's the serving size

waiter : oh, it is only 1 pork ball..

we : oh, it is not enough to be shared among the 4 of us

waiter : y not u try this pork slices, it is really good & there are 5 slices of them

we : oh its fine..*thinking that 5 slices arent gona be enough for the 4 of us too*

so we decided to just leave it aside & set with 3 dishes..

& so, while waiting, the 2 guys sitting opposite of me just started singing..bla bla & joke dam a lot..till the dishes arrived..

errr, is this our food? the dish on the left is the so called duck breast on wombok..

it is only like few slices only..& they were quite shocked..

we were stunned too..haha..

imagine this is the amount to be shared by 4 of us?

2 guys 2 gals..haha

& so we continued guessing the size of our 3rd dishes, some baked cod fish..

My estimation was the smallest..followed by yong pin, then yu wan..

ze peng is being too.."naive" to think that the cod fish is gona be that big..sry zp >.<

how 'big' it is man... bravo !!

Obviously, that 3 foods add up, is only equivalent to my, appetiser ? Imagine 4 person are sharing the food..joker la..but we just enjoyed the food..bit by bit..

& after that, sapu the birthday cake..hahaha..so that was our dinner :P but its alrite..we enjoyed it & most importantly, the birthday gal & guy are happy :D

I just got back another result 2day, & i barely able to believe the score that was shown on the screen..i tried recalling the questions & thought i was able to do the paper..in fact the result was horrible!! there goes my day ~~ but apparently many ppl experienced the same thing..weird=.=

Ystd was quite ok since i've gotten back my neurosc result & it wasnt too bad..but my mood changed dramastically the day after..oh well..highly influential

Forget abt it..2day's biostats tutorial was quite special in the sense that, we are able to taste tim-tam biscuit during lesson..& to identify which brand is better..blablabla..the activity is actually quite stupid & time consuming, more of like "mou liu" kinda activity..but since we can eat & enjoy tim-tam, give it a tick for 2day's tutorial.

2day is just so awesome :D i love 2day so much..the weather, the ppl i met, the food i had..

first of all, i just ended my neurosc test ystd, all of sudden, i felt so relief :D it has been a hectic life for me for the pass 1 month..ok, nt exactly that hectic, but on average, i had 1 assignment & 1 test weekly..each & every marks count.. so yea..just that i've gotten back my genetic's mark last nite, & it was ok ok only..but oh well, its over.. i went to ocf randomly ystd..thx to my newly made fren..ohya, i suddenly knew this fren in uni, she's quite yeng man..we r doin 1 of the same unit..& we r pretty close :D will intro soon..hahaha

all the way till ystd & i have been slacking since then..didnt study at all :P till now..i guess i will start flipping the books 2mr onwards..haha chill for 1 more day :D

& so, i woke up kinda late this morning..& was watching a movie half way thru when my fren ling2 called me up & ask whether i wana go to springvale wif other lifegroup frens..so of coz man, i just left everything behind, & joined the crowd..makan vietnamese food & had bubble tea..is fun to hang out wif ppls..all the way till evening..

& my frens just came & drag me out for a jog..im jogging man..thts quite unbelievable as i hardly exercise over here..after so so long :P becoming fat & unfit..so yea, im kinda tired actually..& we still continue to chat after the jog..

nt long later, my "sheperd" zhilin came over to my place & had a chat..it was an awesome chat..i felt happy after chatting wif her..hehe..

& my dar zhiwei just posted up her bday movie slideshow which we made for her last year..it was on fb..& i watched it all over again..i was the 1 who made it..yet im neva bored of watching it..i think she feels that too..rite rite? haha..i miss college life, or rather the ppl..

My childhood

Had been busy with assignments & tests..since..3 weeks ago..& the routine repeats every SINGLE week..kinda tired by now..but i still have another assignment to b hand in, & another test nex week -.-

Im quite sien now actually coz i think i didnt do well in my genetic paper 2day..& the negative side abt me is that, i tend to think back abt those mistakes & errors i've made in my exam paper..cant help it..try to distract myself, but i will end up thinking abt it again..i know its over, no point crying over spilt milk..bla bla.. I've been exposed to all these phrases & advices like, n-th times..but yea, thats ME..i'll b okay after a while...

Went to lifegroup gathering 2day..& our topic for the day was all about childhood..do u still rmb when was the last time u did smthing very kiddy?? when i was a kid, i always want to grow up to be an adult..now that im big enuf, I want to be a kid at times..at least stress-less..being the naive 1, u wont have to worry abt too many things..just live life as if everything will just goes on smoothly..no exams to worry about..no assignments to be done by the date line..

Looking back at those good old times, at least i will say, i did enjoy my childhood..hmm, but i dun think i had a nice 1 during primary..it was kinda nightmare moment for me to be in that primary school having that CLASS TEACHER...he is scary!! & even till now, as wheneva i dreamt abt my primary school life, having that class teacher teaching me, my adrenaline will just gush in..

but overall, i like my childhood :D i spent most of my time wif my mum & bro..& my cousins next door..we used to play badm at the back lane of my hse, & its so windy, which causes the shuttle to fall into the drain..ended up playing wif a wet shuttle cock..EWW !!
we used to cycle a lot..to other housing areas..to the nearby playground..
me & my bro shud have quite a lot of memories too..since there is only the both of us..so if not him, who else?? haha..

but yea, 2day's topic made me realised how much i miss my childhood life..silly but funny..& apparently, those silly things r very common..as we shared our stories, the whole crowd will b like, " oh oh, i did that too !! " ~~ im sure we had many things in common, which we've done it when we were still young..those games u played, those yummy food ur parents used to prepare, those cartoon u watched..i like Tom & jerry..its so funny..I used to watch cartoon networks & disney channels wif my bro, & my mum will b like, " so big edi still watch cartoon? "..but we still watch :P my secondary life is definitely a blast :D i like bu4 lots man!! if u still count that as childhood..haha..there r less events carried out during college time, more of those self-organised activities which really bring us 2gether :D missing every1 now ~~

Quarreling & arguements are very common things, & usually we will get over it quite fast..all these little things that spice up our life..as compared to my parent's generation, I realised we missed out quite a lot of other fun games too..coz the lifestyle of living in the city as compared to living in kampung is very different..they have much much more games, cheap but fun! Ppl last time dun emphasize too much about studies, but look at it now?? every single thing is about scoring & excelling in our studies..& the world's perception is that, no results = stupid =.=
its so wrong..but that's the reality..no cert, dun think abt getting into a good job in the future..u may say, this particular popular man is not a graduate, but he is still a very successful man..yes no doubt, there is such person..its not impossible of coz..but in the entire world, how many "such person" can there be?

look at the kids now adays, they have to pick up so many other skills even at such a young age..kindergarden kids being send for piano lesson, tuitions, english classes..& to them, money can buy hapiness..having the latest computer games shud b the best award for them..
i wonder what kinda childhood will the future kids have?? living in a cyber world? filled with computer games & gadget..less excercise but a more sedentary lifestyle perhaps?

oh well, just suddenly recall back abt my life & started bloggin abt it..

My blog has been neglected. Just kinda lazy to blog..or rather, when smthing nice or memorable happens, i didnt blog it in time, & as time goes by, just couldnt be bothered to blog it out again.

I went for some career industry nite last nite. Thought of having an idea wht sorts of job im looking forward, or anything which i can start doing b4 i graduate to build up my resume. Apparently it is nt so applicable for the 1 im study T.T

I can only start doing smthing when i finish my 2nd year. So perhaps if possible, can start finding related part time job starting fr next year..aiks..& in order to opt for that, we need results as well..

Just a few days ago, i received an email regarding the education situation in a certain country. I meant, not the system of how it runs, rather the atmosphere or surroundings those students r studying at.. Im like, is that even a classroom ?? Perhaps it is in worse condition to some other ppl's garage or store room.. yet those kids are happily studying there & grab each & every chance to learn smthing. However, being enthusiastic is not enough seriously. I mean, yes is good to c that they are into studies, but looking at the materials, & the knowledge, & the exposures they r subjected to, can they compete wif the world out there?

I guess education is only part of it. TO them, being able to sit down & hold on to a book, & at least know smthing, is considered to b a blessing. As there r many out there who r suffering from poverty. & they have to work day & night just to keep their tummy filled. Compared to the poverty community, i think those kids who r able to study will feel how lucky they are?

Same applies to us..
We are given a chance to be borned in a nice family. So dun complain how bad ur parents treated u, or how u always argue wif ur family members.

We are given a chance to study. Some1 actually said that, there r only 2% of the world's population who are able to get into Uni..hmm..really that little ??
& smtimes just couldnt help it, when work loads r all pilled up, or when exams r very tough, i will complain as well..haha..human nature XD

We are being provided by food all the time. Dun be so picky.
haha, dun complain if ur mum doesnt cook nice food..wait till u r alone out there, u will miss home cook food like crazy! :P

So so many things, & i can feel how lucky i am to be able to sit down here, infront of the laptop & go on9 & surf the net. I shall not complain if the internet is down or anything XD

Ppl will neva get satisfied with things. & i think ppl are just simply talented in Making complains. I wonder why.

ohya, xuxin posted smthing on facebook saying that, Phd holders may end up being a taxi driver in the future..err mayb some of u might be having this thought in mind :

Time flies & thts it for my 1st sem holidays..For a certain moment, Im not really motivated to start my 2nd sem..Mayb I've been enjoying too much, & now its time to put all the others aside & back to books? ..

Another thing which annoyed me is that stupid printer! Im not sure whether is the printer's problem or the ink cartridge's prob..cacated=.=

I enjoyed so much during the holidays, & thinking that I have to drag my feet back to uni, its quite saddening..

9/7 - 12/7

SIFE national conference 2009 - Sydney Sofitel Hotel

This is the Monash team :D

but im only the "kelefe" there..basically 70% act as observer only..only 6-8 presenters. lol

No doubt, I learnt something from this trip, which I cant get by sitting in the uni's lecture hall.

& its so inspiring to listen to other young ppl's idea..ppl who are so ambitious & kind, always thinking of ways to lend a helping arm to the needs..

anyway, Monash managed to get into semi's..Western Aus took the crown once again by being the champion for the 2nd time..(if im nt mistaken) , Melb uni was 1st runner up.

we went for Korean BBQ during 1 of the dinner.

with the..KOREANS..lol..we met new frens there..

Another cool thing abt goin to Sydney is that,

Im able to meet up wif this guy here..

can recognise who he is?

He is KEVIN !!

He treat me dinner & brought me ard..too bad Im only free on the last day's nite..

but he actually waited for me..luckily he managed to catch the nite bus, or else have to wait for another hour or so.

Happy Birthday Darling !!

I arrived Melb on Mon ( instead of SUN due to some stupid reason, u know.. ),

& then these frens of mine just rang me up & said wana make eggtarts..

Was kinda lethargic, but still, I invited them over without hesitating..

& we had lots of fun baking..& eating..

they do look like eggtarts rite? coz there r ppl who said they r cupcakes 0.0

the next day..after a nite at my place,

we continue wif our "mission" by going to the supermarket & grab some food for later nite's

Its really cheap to cook on our own..we should have it more often :P

typically msian style..coz if we were to have that at the restaurant, its gona cause us to pay thru our nose man..

& so we overnite at Rem's place till the next day's evening, I decided to leave..lol

without fail,

we met up once again to Mt Dandenong..

the scenary is really awesome..NATURAL is the word..

& we took couple of train rides from stops to stops..

& took lots of pics..

at last, we went up to some "skyhigh" place, where we can view the city in a whole..i think it will be even greater if its at nite, with those lightings.

"touching heaven?" lol..

& its is freaking COLD up there..apparently its only 3.5 celcius..

& look at our dressing, as if its 15 celcius..haha

Got home after dinner wif them, which is quite late edi..The min i on9, kaboom..my mood fluctuates like mad..bcoz results for sem1 is out !! omg 0.0

my hand were shivering..I duno y also..its only 1st sem, but still, im taking it so seriously..plus, after knowing some of my fren's results, Im even more nervous..& keep reminding myself to set my goal lower..haha..oopss..just so that i wont be that dissapointed later on..

fortunately it wasnt too bad :D

I thought I will be able to shop for my groceries, but i ended up going out with my hsemates Mega, Linda...we had lunch 2gether then headed to Southland shopping complex..

anyway I really enjoyed every single day of my holiday. I ate so so much !!

almost every single day. I know the min u look at my pics, u will be like, omg, hw what happen to u? have u been eating non-stop every single day?

haha..but yea, once uni starts, then can control a bit :P

Still never ends, have to go on duty for my SIFE club fund raising thingy..in order to get free accomodation in Sydney, every1 have to duty at least 1 day..& so today is the day..woke up early, get there & started off pretty well..

The weather is kinda cold, but while we are bbq'ing the sausages, its hot inside..how to take it man..just hope that i dun fall sick..so yea..kinda tiring..yet i can still go over to another fren's hse..& stay till evening :P

OK, this shall be the last time i blog till im back from Sydney..Im not sure how much will i enjoy during the national conference, But hope I will equip myself with more knowledge & communicating skills experience after this trip..Im always worry about getting sesat during the conference>.<

OMG, after the long marathon of studies & exams, it finally came to an END!
cant imagine it..Im so so relief right now..a big big..PHEW ~

I dun need to stare at the books anymore, at least fr this couple of weeks.
I dun need to go to the library & stay there fr 9-5 as if im working..smtimes even longer-.-

Just enjoy for the time being :D

& so right after our exams, we went to sophia to celebrate Eva's bday..pizza, pasta..yum!

actually every1 was kinda tired & half dead edi..lol..yet we still drag ourself to the city & take some sticker photos..

she's 1 of my closest buddy in biomed course..so glad to know her..

my biological clock woke me up at 7 plus, & i thought i will sleep till quite late in the morning..yet, eyes open widely at 7plus..so just decided to get up fr bed & go on9..

& so i saw clement was on9, just said hi to him, & nex min, he asked me whether wana join him & his frens in city or nt..& so, i just joined along since im free for the day..quite random but its nice, no need to plan so much, smthing that took us less than 5mins to decide..

& so met at 1 of the station, & apparently in melb, there r diff zones, & legally, we have to purchase diff tickets for diff zones..but we wanted skip paying for zone 2 since its only 1 stop. LUCKILY we hold out steps back & didnt board the train that early..i was saying, if they board, we dun board..true enuf, coz the police officer enter the train to check the ticket! if fine, means 100plus edi..hehe..WE ARE SAFE!

& so firstly, we head to a so called msian style kopitiam to have our lunch! they have LASKA there!! so excited & just ordered it..haven tried any ever since i came here..so yea..

my life have been the same for the pass few days, or rather pass 1 week plus..no choice but to hang on for another 1 week plus..time flies & yes, every single day just have to face the books..wht else, i think thts normal..peak period now..

& i still went to lifegroup 2day, meet up wif frens & relax..& since each time we have to roughly intro ourself & answer to 1 ques..& 2day's ques was " WHAT'S UR EXAM STUDY TIPS ? " since majority over there are med students, & is very interesting to listen to their "tips"..lol

1. study only when u have the mood to study..
no point starting at the book for 10 hrs & ntg goes in

2. quality instead of quantity of studies

3. there's 1 who said, relax! focus only on the subj which cant afford to fail =.= sounds a bit...

all sorts of study skills & apparently they r the JPA scholarship holder so can imagine they r like so smart..quite envy their brain :D some ppl just have those ability where they brain storm last min, yet can excel..but im totally not that kinda person..lol..how i wish i can..

Ppl always say, jia you, add oil, accelerate..yes i know..but i think im driving on an antique car, not a sports car..so knowing my ability, i will have to put in more effort & start earlier, as long as at the end of the day, i can reach the destination in time :D so no point comparing who is smarter & all, just do my very best & hope everything will turn out to be fine..

on wed, lifegroup had another gathering at fawn & yuwan's place..only gals r invited..lol
meals theme fr the nite supposed to b nasi lemak, but ended up..anyway its still very nice..can taste the NASI lemak, wif some ikan bilis & other stuff..plus..teh tarik as well..typical msian kinda food..yum yum !!

anyway fri the same group met up again..so we c each other quite often..

other days r just some ordinary days..go back to uni, study..mix ard..
proj & assignments are pilling up..but i haven started wif it yet >.<
another 10% test coming up nex week..

now im on a nutrition dietary assignment, so every little food i ate, i have to weigh it & record it down..& on that particular day when im on the diet prog, my dietary intake us pretty healthy, no tidbits, no soft drinks, no chips...but other days..hohohooh makan saja~~

i went to this fren's hse last sat, & i went there again just this friday..stayed over fr 1 nite..& u can imagine their life..nt the study life, but the happy life..

a hse with 8 residents & 8 refrigerators!!! oh, 1 of it is upstairs so there's only 7 here

& this is the owner who brought me to her hse, melissa..1st year med, she intro me to her hsemates..

not the 1 drinking the milkshake but the 1 at the back..whom i knew only 2days? bt we r pretty close edi :D she's..janine, doin law..

apparently many of my frens r quite stressed up wif their work, or uni life? oh well, i might b too..but i just allowed a little of those stress to enter my life..hopefully yea..& i treat it as a driving force to push me forward..i dun wana mess up my life..

& another significant fact that i've learnt 2day is that, im happy wif my life now as who i am, coz i have a happy family, i love them more than anything..i hav a whole bunch of nice frens, back in msia as well as over here in aussie..& i treasure them more than anything i could do..as well as YOU the 1 who is reading it..

time flies..without realising, its another week..

& the previous post was only until thurs, so start fr fri!

fri - met up wif gerard, & we went over to yunn hsieh's hse fr dinner..aunty cooked laksa for us! its feels as if im back in msia..yummy!!

sat - drop by at 1 of my senior, yuwan's place..but didnt join them for dinner coz we had a farewell for mel..

sun- finally shifted up to my new room. & it took me ard 2hr plus to settle down.

mon- uni again~ & we were bz wif our phys assignment..

wed - morning bio prac was quite easy & managed to finish it early :D but still got to stay back for 2pm lecture & 5pm meeting..so still equal to whole day out coz i came home ard 7pm! the most tiring day~

thurs - after class, stayed back in the library to wait fr another senior, zhilin to dismiss, so she can fetch us for bubble tea..ppl over here loves bubble tea, i duno y..but at nite, while i was bzing wif my nutrition post, suddenly wasnt feeling well-.- body temp rises..& i cant seems to find the relevant info tho its just a simple topic>.< brain wasnt functioning tho..wasted my whole nite..geram!

fri - crazy weather! the day b4 was super hot, & 2day is raining! or rather, pouring!!
i wasnt feeling well in the morning..but still got to drag my feet to uni fr phys & bio lecture, & essay writing workshop..luckily i went for tht workshop, or else i will b ended up wif plagiarism when i deal wif my essays..they r so particular about plagiarism=.= no more copy paste work, or even paraphrasing it is strictly prohibited..

as usual, went for lifegroup & thts all fr the week!!

lol i know i hav nt been updating this blog fr a long long time..wht happened in past 2 weeks, cant recall all but mainly just wake up, on9, go to uni, study, come home, rest, study, cook, eat, on9, study..nevertheless, PRINT LECTURE NOTES..
keep on printing only, & in a short time, my ink level has gone down lots

the only diff is.. mayb i will get to know more & more frens each day? or at least my circle of frens is expanding..just tht its at quite a slow rate..im supposed to b active in my clubs bt most of their activities r camps fr the time being & im nt very into those camp now..

& i just got home fr the SIFE meeting 2day, it was a 2 hours meeting 0.0

we r under a soil candle proj where we hav to plan events, get more man power, help other ppl to sell & promote heir products, held workshops to educate those " residential business woman " or smthing lidat..
i think im the 1 who really need those education first..i knew nothing about econs, finance, marketting or whtsoeva..fr a moment i really feel like quiting, bt after thinking twice, i think i shall stay, & learn more stuff, develope my soft skills, build up my confidence level esp during presentation of ideas & speaking out.

finally gotten my 3 line & a hp. i actually ordered the hp via on9, coz there's some offer & promotion & by doin so i can actually get a $100 shopping voucher, so thts y i signed up via on9. but it took ages to arrive, & when i cant wait any longer, i decided to call them up, & wht they told me was " sry, we haven process ur order yet." argh, i have been waited fr 1week plus..its like no hp fr 1 week plus, cant contact any1, except receiving calls~

anyway, sam fetched me out to his fren's shop to get the plan & the hp. mel & alvin were there as well, felt dam bad, its like they wanted to go & buy stuff, ended up accompanying me & got stranded down there fr more than half an hour>.< my hp no. still remain, feel free to sms me:D this time i will hav credict to reply u! :D

we had dinner 2gether on sunday nite..

my first time celebrating bday away fr my family & home..anyway,

uni life has just begun!!

i've made quite a number of new frens..majority of them r chinese..& we r gona go thru the university path 2gether fr at least 3yrs..

uni's lecture is really diff as compared to high skool or college..im so used to being spoon fed with notes..& when i said notes, its like packed wif info & the amount to study is a lot..

but now, the lecture simply touch & go, & finishes within a short period of time..time really flies over here..coz its only 1 hr lecture:P i like that..haha

the remaining studies r mend to b done by us independently..& i didnt bother to buy a single book..might b the library's frequent visitor i guess..when i was a librarian in BU4, i didnt borrow any books..when im in HELP college, tho the library is just inches away, i also dun care abt it..

but NOW, coz i dun hav any books wif me, thts y i got to walk to the library purposely to hunt fr books..lol..enhance me to do more walking!!

finally its has ended..after hesitating fr so looooong, i've decided to buy the MSA culture card only on the last day of o week *bcoz its expensiv*..& from then, i just signed up for any clubs & societies tht has FREE membership to the culture card holders, except fr biomed, i still got to pay another $5..sigh..

- SIFE *some charity organisation i guess*
- Chinese society
- motorcar * i just want the free gifts actually >.< *

to build my network of frens in aus..lol..its just in monash btw..

& fr the pass few days, it seems like i've joined or signed up fr activities organised by christian clubs..ystd ard lunch time i also went fr student life's activities..& fr there, i get to know few new frens fr biomed as well:D & some other seniors too..

there r more coming up actually..

later on's bbq lunch at campus which is also organised by CF group, & the $$ tht they've collected will go straight to the bushfire victims..so wht say u? of coz im in~

so after thinking twice, i will make use of my culture card & join even more activities, nevertheless, i will join BUDDHIST society as well..each time as i passed by the club's booth, it seems quite pathetic as no1 even realised the existance of tht booth?!..or mayb the buddhist community is just small over here in monash? ITS OK..i will still give myself a chance for it..hehe

Hello to my long lost blog, nt really long, but it is.. if were to compare wif the frequency when im in msia..mayb here i dun hang out wif frens tht often? or mayb i shud say i dun take so much pics here >.<

& i went to chadstone once again durin sat, since i got ntg much to do..i know u may think im dam weird to NOT VISIT THE MELB CITY even i've been here fr 2 weeks..oh well, i will just leave it to weekends, since there is weekend saver ticket..

& almost every1 in the hse had their haircut..ok i noe im nt supposed to cut bt oh well..

1 of my hsemate sam went to fetch the hairstylist back, so the hse has transformed to a saloon..& every1 just take turn to hav their hair cut..

sun morning, alvin fetched me to buy printer..mel followed along & gave some opinions..

but i would said, all my hse mates r just awesome ppl..

i followed bernice to the church..haha u all will surely think y do i actually go there..just follow along & understand their culture better? to know more frens?

since nat & bernice r the committee there..& after their events, i just followed a group of them fr dinner at glen waverly..

& there is how i noe this gal better..

stayed in the same hse previously but shifted out edi..piano experts seriously, used to study biomed bt switched to nursing after tht, & gona pass me some of her books :D

but the thing is, she jokes dam a lot, & i call her...DAI GA JE..

orientation is the nex day, which is mon..the very first thing they did was, provide us wif breakfast, & since its free..the Q is dam long..in the pic is mayb 20% of the Q only..

but i would say, i gain lots of info, but its boring!! managed to make some new frens, but..

nt satisfied?!

tues went to the library, & i actually signed up fr some 1hr lesson to learn how to use the library=.= sounds stupid yea..but if i dun learn, i'll b lost..

after learning how to use the comp & those pin code, so i went round the library to search for some bio books tht i might b using..& end up there r so many kinds of bio books, just the matter of version, edition, author, year...the booklist tht the uni provides r like, easily 4-5 books fr 1 subj..2 prescribed ones, another 2 highly recommended, & another 2 recommended..so which 1 shall i buy? i cant b buying every single book rite..the only thing is to..WAIT -.- wait fr my lecturers to "final recommend" the particular book..

it may seems to be many books of the same version, but i believe once the course starts, there wont be any books left on the shelve..the actual no of bio books r just, uncountable..those above r just 1 of the subj im taking in my FIRST sem..

& fr 2day, there is another talk again, & once again, its boring..just need to sit down & listen to the person infront who does the talking..

this drink booth gives out free drinks..wht we need to do is just to drop smthing fr top & let it roll down to 1 of the column below..if u r lucky enuf then u can get some free gifts..

i haven really signed up fr any clubs yet..coz the membership fees r quite pricey..but i've enrolled in some of those individual prog which held in the campus itself tho..plus 1 weekend day trip :D

monash held a transition prog fr all the biomed students..& during the enrolment the day b4, there's only ard 30 students attended, so i tot thts all we hav fr the entire course, seems to be a bit pathetic, like no1 wana study tht course kind..but it proof me wrong when i went fr the trans prog ystd..the whole lecture theater is PACKED ! im nt sure wif the number of ppl, 200plus at least..& as we go on wif our prog, we get to know our team mates better, & i realised its really tough fr the locals to enter..they hav to score really well..partly coz many of them r doin double degree..biomed & law, biomed & chem engineering, or econs, or science..
where as fr international students, they will lower the standard, so tht they can get more international students & earn more $$ ?

i felt intimidated fr a moment..lol..but its ok, im nt here to compete wif them, or i wish their presence would be a pushing or driving force, or rather a role model fr me..
just try my very best & excel..thts the best thing i can do !

woke up quite late 2day, & after settling wif the bank stuff, & chatted wif mum, i've decided to walk to the nearby shopping centre..apparently its abt 2km..

imagine in msia, 2km means walking fr my hse all the way to ikano or the curve tht area or further a little bit..i would hav just go there by car..keeping aside abt driving to the curve, even to those taman tun roles of banks or restaurant to tabao food, i will drive there..OMG =.=

spending every single cents on my own, i will feel the pain..haha..im still spending my dad's money, just that every little things might cause u to pay thru ur nose..but later on i will get use to the currency..

dun feel like eating lunch, its like after walking back under the hot sun made me feel like dashing to the bed & sleep..& so after a cup of hot choc, "using the spoon ky gave me"..& now i shall go & hav a nap & restore my energy..till then ~

HEY PPL, i miss u guys lots too~

finally im back in the cyber world..the pass few days was horrible without the internet..
actually i would say everything is really fine wif me, esp day time since i will b out most of the time, goin to the campus & scout ard for food & goods..run some errands..

i shall start wif the first day,
leaving behind all those crying sobbing moments b4 i left msia..as u noe, im a very emo person..lol..& i cant control my tear gland fr producing tears..

so yea i overnite in the plane & arrived in aussie ard 8.20am..
oh btw my luggage exceeded the max weight..coz i tot clem told me it was rm200smthing fr every 10kg extra..so i just brought extra & prepared to pay..till i reach the counter, & when they weigh my luggage, & tell me : miss, u r required to pay rm1400++..im stunned ! its actually 140+ fr EACH KG EXTRA !!
omg..so last min got to withdraw more stuff..haihz..no more maggi! haha..
even my big luggage bag edi exceeded by 2kg, & begged tht lady to not charge me extra..she's so nice & said, ok fr this time i wil help u, nex time try nt to exceed the max weight..thx LADY !!

& yea once i arrived in aus, then bought a vodafone simcard..which is quite expensiv to call..switching soon^^ next month..btw, my contact no is +61410732306..can sms me anytime :D

shifted into a big hse, a big empty room wif 1 single bed, cupboards & table..apparently i realised my rental is a bit expensiv, coz mine is a bigger room..but im nt using the entire place also, the AIR is using it=.=

anyway my other housemates r really nice ppl..the first day, when i tot i was all alone at home, luckily there's 1 of them who's at home..so she cooked lunch fr me..at tht very moment, when i was so LOST, no food, sm1 just cameby & said : hey u want a meal or smthing?

the 2nd day when i went to the campus to hav a look, & its super huge..the compound was like, few times of 1utama..haha..i tot i've walked quite far, but im just at tht small spot wondering ard..during lunch time,
there's a chinese gal confronted me
she : r u chinese?
me : erm, im malaysian chinese, not china chinese
she : got such thing?
to those chinese rite, they cant imagine msia hav chinese !! or mayb, chinese cant speak mandarin..ohya & when i speak to her, i tend to slang a bit too..haha..got influenced by her "biao zun" mandarin ~

but when it comes to nite, its horrible !! homesick man..coz no internet to use..i din noe tht internet man actually left me a msg, & asked me to return his call..by time i do so, he is nt free to set up fr me edi..tht whole nite was the worst nite eva man..time crawls !!

& so comes the 3rd day..i found a shortcut fr the hse to the campus..wee^^ no need to walk so far..bank in some money & start to go on a bus-tour..actually it was a mistake, tht took me an hour plus to arrive at a place where its just 5-10mins away..but its okay..

& i went to shop..i realised in aus is tht, to those angmo u will always greet them, end ur words wif have a nice day..u will feel happier..haha..when u go to a chinese shop, where the boss is a chinese, speak to them in mandarin & asked fr discount, they will giv..i've tried it twice, & it works fr both times :D

& till evening, im anticipating fr the man to come & get my connection done, & its done!! im on cloud nine at tht particular moment coz im once again get connected to the world..haha..nt tht sesat anymore..& so for now, TIME FLIES..

we had lunch there, & then planning our routine of the day..

left ard 2.30pm & head to kh's place just to pick him..

went to lydia's place first, then pass her my thumbdrive wif all our pics..so tht she can hav an extra copy..we were browsing thru the pics & its funny..we flash back our sweet old memories :D
& they will always bring up the sports day incident , i was so pissed till i threw the water bottle on the ground..lol..

it was a very random thought by lydia & joce due to the man tao they ate the other day..& so here comes the day where the 9 of us gather, & purposely go to a chinese restaurant for CRAB !! & fried mantao..these r the 2 main dishes

keehao & jia yang were the drivers..so nice rite..
but sitting in kh's car was like sitting for a roller coaster ride!! lol..
kh's driving had "improved" lots XD

the first restaurant was super expensiv man..60plus per kg..so we went to the nex shop, & its reasonable so we just went in :D

thru out the whole ordering procedure, only me kh & wt did the ordering,

the rest were like, anything la, whteva la, u all decide..

i think every1 is nt tht full..especially the GUYS..haha..

went ou at 12, apparently lydia was there first, so we went to buy ticket, the cashier return an extra 5 bucks change to us, but we left tht counter at first, till i explain to lydia, & she was like, hw!! y r u so evil~ ok, so after she said it, & we think tht we shud just return it to tht man, or else he has to fork out tht money at the end of the day, which is quite pityful..

hi there again!!

ok its supposed to be just a small gathering to meet up wif zhi b4 she chao to sabah

but after a while, we started inviting more & more ppl..& it sounds kinda great over the msn tht quite a number of ppl were being invited..hmm, but we over-estimated or rather over-expected the crowd..lol..

joyce, ju, zhi, me, xinyi, shreen, sonia...100% GALS

we as in this bigger crowd, haven been hanging out 2gether ever since..after A-levels..

i miss them so much, & i miss the fun we used to have when we were at college..im really glad to meet up wif every single 1 that turn up 2day..i seriously do

the gathering was indeed a great 1 esp with sonia the joker there

we gathered at Mcd at first, then after kh's great suggestion, we went to TGIF..haha..overall its fun,

just that we missed out a few fellows there, including our honourable class rep SAM ko who is in aus now & many din noe abt it..twins,jimmy, tht 3 in 1 (yurkie vishvesh chesvin), prish, chin min, pui li, wei wei etc......

these r the ppl we've contacted, but couldnt turn up..

i went to the monash pre-departure briefing ystd..
quite A LOT ppl there..mayb coz of the parents! haha..imagine if 1 student is accompanied by both dad & mom..but of coz not every1 go with their parents..1 of them is ME..my parents rather go home & watch badm *msia open final*..lol

so after the briefing, they separate us into diff campus group..& we r suppose to consult the respective group advisor fr some tips & advice..

& wht i saw is tht, while we r asking, there is a mum who did all the asking & requesting for her daughter..haha..

so do u think its the mum being over-protected/gan jiong, or that the child just couldnt be bothered?! haha

overall i think the briefing did help me..& i managed to know few frens & seniors there..so at least can seek some help fr them just in case:D
clayton campus itself offers hundreds of courses, but i can even meet sm1 who is taking the same course as i do:D quite delighted..so thts all for Sunday

& whts with Monday..woke up, then go to the bank..after that fetched mum to smwhere which took an hour plus..luckily i went to the nearby Mcd to on9..at least time passes faster over there..

School Visiting

so we decided to go back to skool to visit the teachers, since we heard tht mr long is back fr aus..

i think the school changed a lot..

from the surroundings, the structure..with some extra pondok here & there..to the teachers & students..

fr a super empty school, with just the frame initially with 4 classes in the first year( if im nt mistaken), to now with quite a number of classes edi..

& so we gathered at the bus lay-by at 10smthing, walked in the school as we like only - without registering or anything..

teachers were wondering how we get in..hehe

we went to the stuff room first, bt didnt really c any1 familiar..perhaps those we arent close to..

the very first teacher we talked to was..En. Siva..just fr a while..

after that shud b..Pn. Lee S.K.

followed by Pn. Zubaidah..

oh, the first thing she said was : balik untuk apa? kamu semua macam model la..

err i think she's trying to comment on our dressing, coz all of us din wear the school t-shirt?!

it was a gathering organised by mandy & gerard ..we just pass the msg ard, hoping to c as many ppl as possible..so we dun really know the actual number of ppl goin, who is goin & stuff..

till we arrive there!

we were standing outside of TGIF, & its quite cram, so we decided to move aside..

so these gang of ppl just stood there.. middle of the street

this time we get to decide on the venue in a short time & go there straight

(or else we will b walking fr new wing to old wing, & back to new wing again)

partly coz mandy has decided to go to BBQ plaza ..

started off cooking, ok is bbq'ing..put in whteva it is over there..

more towards the end, when there is only VEGE left in the bucket..

thx a lot to christopher CMK =.= but the guys still managed to finish it..till the last part, when chris put in those chili padisssssss, then they cant afford to eat anymore..

just realised it has been quite sometime since the last time i blogged..

ohya i met up wif yeetheng last fri at Mcd

2gether wif twins khuang boey boon geof roger..

yea these r the ppl..yt came the latest..thru out the whole gathering, i think we laughed more than we talked..they just tend to joke ard..is the best way to de-stress (nt like im stress or whteva)..lol..

tho the time i spent over there is ard an hour plus, but at least it has been fully utilized..instead of knowing more abt yt & her life over at india, i ended up knowing ntg abt her..coz she got carried away easily by the twins..most of the time she's laughing, & complaining tht she's ..fat =.=

wht i got to know is tht, she was homesick..aww..i think im gona experience it real soon..haven started packing also..

besides, went back to malacca last weekend again..this trip get to eat more food..coz it shud b the last time im tasting it b4 i chao..nex trip- CNY, will b bz visiting by then..

Hmm let's c where shall i start..
ok, i got a call fr junyi, when they were abt to sit for their med exams..& they told me tht they r goin to the curve rite after their exams..
so yeap, i've got some prog during new year eve at least..

few mins later, xuxin msg me, & invited me over..fr dinner
few few mins later, maine msg me, & asked whts my plan..so we fixed up to meet at the curve :D
few few few hours later, kev's turn..& he told me kh & boey goin as well..
& i know my new year eve shud b a great 1 :D coz i can meet up wif many close frens..hehe..
bt there's still quite a no. who r bz wif their stuff so... too bad>.<

my first destination : xuxin's hse..tricia was there edi, since morning..haha..then we chat for a while, get to noe more abt each other's life..kai zen came over then we left, heading to the curve for dinner..after walking & searching ard for restaurant, we finally decided to go to secret recipe, coz tht's the 1 wif less ppl, no need to Q & air conditioned :D

so we had our dinner there..i met zhi jun & clem there too as well!! bt just a few mins, they left..smhow xuxin met clem, & we realised this world is so small..haha..

fr a group of 4, it expanded to...SEVEN! wif khuang, boey & kev..the 7 of us ust squeeze into tht tiny table..bt we still had fun tho..kesian boey a bit..

later on, it expanded again! to...ELEVEN! adding on twins geof & roger..luckily the group of ppl beside us had finished, so we can occupy a bigger space..

hp vibrating..toot toot..its zhi wei! & jun after tht..so i went over to meet them..changi was there too..but he left earlier..stood there fr a while & we've decided to go to..manhantten fish market..fr? DRINKS..bcoz its bottemless..so yea..& clem ordered the soup without realising it comes wif a glass of drinks..so end up he belanja me 1..Thx clem!

ard 11pm i joined back the previous gang..& thts when the climax reaches..lol..we had lots of fun playing ard..
they just sprayed all over the place, &..on the HUMANS..haha..nevertheless im 1 of the victim..the innocent 1, who took a group picture fr them..1..2..3."chack"///in return i got sprayed..whole shirt was the foam. =.= thx a lot my frens..haha

time passes rather quickly, & its time to countdown..when the clock strikes 12, fireworks r all up in the sky..nice:D

12plus, we just went home respectively..& i walked home wif my bro..it took us ard 35mins to walk..

in just less than 10hours, we will hav to waved goodbye to the year of 2008..do u feel happy or sad? well, we might think that many things will change, as we'll be separated fr our frens & family, things might nt turn out as well as we think, bt always look at the bright side..& i shall just face this brand new year wif brand new resolutions & hopes..

whteva sweet memories, shall just keep it in mind, while those bad ones, i shall just learned fr the lesson & move on! always keep in mind that failure isnt the end of the day..instead we shall interpret it as a step to our success..tht shud be the quote of the year :D

First of all, The nice college group of frens whom i spent my entire A-levels wif..fun, jokes, madness, stress, pressure, discussion, exams.. everything as well as separation.. they can be really crazy at times, bt once exam is just ard the corner, the content of our sms will change fr craps to answers of pyq & studies..

The secondary skool gang, whteva crazy & fun things u named it, we experienced it..tho we meet up once in a while, the frenship that we shared is simply awesome :D i still miss my secondary skool life a lot..play & activities come first..wif a percentage of 65%, studies 35% ? or less...haha..thts what make my batch the unique 1..the "buat kecoh " but "semangat" batch!

they celebrated my 19th birthday wif me..cute 1, touching 1, surprising 1..& the effort & time they put & spent on me, i appreciated lots..& those memory will just etch in my mind..haha..thx ppl..luv u guys lots..muax

my juniors, who call me wif lots of name..che, jie, dai lou as well..lol..we're all of diff ages, bt we can click really well..sms was influenced by km, toking on the fon by shing! c, instead of me influencing the "kids", its the other way round..haha

nevertheless, our annual prom nite..wif every1 dressing up smartly & elegantly..can u recognise us?! haha..some can even stare at me bt nt knowing its me..especially mabel =.=

i rmb when i first got to noe tht i was elected fr NS service, i was sad! not knowing NS can b tht fun..hehe..i mean at least it is better than wht i've tot..besides the hygiene, the toilet, the canteen, the food..ohman, thts quite a lot..bt i still managed to survive! haha..the min i reach there, fever, cough, flu whteva..sick fr 1 week..just how weak i am>.< who cares abt the bad experience, wht i mind is still the frens i made over there..the bad things i shall nt state, bt they r really frenly..all fr diff parts in msia..east & west coast..diff background which made me the only "study" person over there..& i can understand the difference btw us..NS however painted my life differently, let me realised how fortunate i am, with all the needs i desired.

oh of coz my most amazing trip in USA..the 1 who will get the most credict shud b my daddy..i had a fun fun memorable time wif my family..they r the one who support me thru out my life..i shall say no more coz i know that, without them, there will be no ME rite now over here..

i woke up this morning, with my heart beating rapidly..nt bcoz im being chased by sm1 in my dream, or saw some horror things tht frightened me..BUT..

I dreamed tht i was goin to attempt an exam in skool in few hours time, but i was late bcoz i just got home fr a vacation..rushing rushing to get prepared, & i realised i haven study for the upcoming paper, which is MORAL & SEJARAH =.=
i brought a whole big bunch of books wif me & was abt to leave home..wif a high level of adrenalin pumping in my body..bt my mum wasnt ready yet, so i sat down & start flipping my books..forcing myself to rmb as many things as possible..when my mum was abt to fetch me to skool..

i woke up!!

thx gudness..just a few mins later my alarm clock rang too..so i was thinking : oh, even if i din wake up by myself, the alarm clock will do so, & i will still get to escaped fr exams..

i hate exams seriously..& this kinda "exam dreams" happened to me few times..even when im having a relaxing mood rite now! having holiday & nt studying at home..

i try to recall my dreams..tht moment i was sitting down studying, i wasnt studying abt sej or moral, nor smthing related..bt smthing abt science..weird isnt it..how can i be goin on vacation if i noe im having exams on tht day? & nevertheless, nt prepared wif it?
dreams occur all out of my control..u may think of 1 thing, bt nex min, another thing will occur..
sejarah & moral is smthing i neva touch long long time ago..i've even done wif my a levels, bt im still thinking of sitting fr..SPM?

smtimes it happened to me, its like i woke up fr a dream, yet im still dreaming@.@ till i woke up fr the 2nd time..then i knew i had a dream within a dream..isnt tht just COOL..our mind..

argh, i jerked up & realised, it's nt tht i dun wana wake up, but i tot i HAD woke up..sounds funny isnt it..bt this only happened to me once..coz i usually can wake up by myself >.<

Finally i get to meet up wif 1 of those ppl or big sis i looked highly upon to---lai ye jj ..the last time i met her was ages ago..when i was still, primary!! she's so sweet..she made a point to meet up wif me & family once she's back fr UK....

Still on "gathering" mood..Durin lunch...twins, khuang, b.ming & geof were there..i was wondering where's y.theng, so we called her up..she were shocked coz she thought the gathering was 1am..ever first time i heard ppl saying, gathering in the middle of the nite =.= LOL anway, hope to c u soon dear..

we chat for 2 hour plus non stop..dam fun!! plus, maine & the other joker rina there, it was awesome i would say..can imagine how noisy were we over there, i think ppl r staring at us..pai seh..we just talk whteva we like & share our thoughts..khuang supposed to chao at 2.30, but.... 3.45 only left..& he'll rmb about 2412..we r meeting up again fr badm..wee^^ & instead of playing badm, i would say, we will b chating away again..haha..4eva respect..twins!!

Time flies..

seriously..& there we r again at jun's place fr christmas party..The gals who went for jun's +mas party, bt where's she? hmm, bz entertaning guest mayb..

zhi fetched me & dawsom..at her place, wht we did was, EAT..chat..occasionally sit down, doin ntg, or staring at each other.? but no matter wht it is, a house wif love abides & frenship is a guest, its surely a true HOME..its' more interesting when we were at jun's room..Leo learned how to blow the saxophone, i can c him strugglin wif it, till his whole face went red, yet there's only wind coming out, no sound..poor thing XD dee managed to handle it..hehe..then jun perform wif her flute..whole hse is full of musical instruments..

& then comes pressie exchange time:D thx ppl fr all the presents..i appreciated it lots:D ur words mean a lot to me twins..as well as the gift fr zw & jy^^ i wonder when will it be the nex time im seeing u all again, bt no matter wht it is, i'll neva forget the moments we once spent 2gether during our college life..ur presence is the greatest gift:D true frenship doesnt come by chance

* A blog to sum up my daily routine ..to know a little about A LOT..hehe..i went back to malacca last weekend & came back on sunday.

MON : went to mabel's hse at 1smthing to make pressie for melia..its some clay art craft, & we baked it in the oven..kee hao & wtzyy went too..hmm, supposed to do more clay thingy, me & mabel ended up playing red alert3..lol..nex time we shud play again!!

TUES : supposed to meet up wif the krs gang of frens, end up cancel coz majority cant make it..so mabel & i went over to weitzyy's hse..we were just too free la XD instead of playing board games, we played..MAHJONG!! after tht watch "jorney to the west"..can imagine how free we r..chit chat & went home..oh, wt lend me a book " rich dad poor dad "..& was quite semangat to read it on tht day itself..just flip thru a little tho ~

WED : dental appointment in the afternoon..& my relatives fr malacca came over..entertained them in the evening till nite..& my hse transformed to a cyber cafe coz few laptops r operating at the same time..

THURS : i guess its my REST day..continue reading the book..& i finally finished!! cant imagine me reading man..as i seriously dun touch all these kinda books..bt i learned smthing at least..its all about $$$..hehe my mum said i "money face" ..>.<
** besides..never be Someone who criticizes and does not analyse. Someone who lets their doubts & fears close their mind instead of open their eyes.

FRI : finally can get to c my college gang of frens, which is only another 2 frens of mine tho..my dar dar zhi & dai je Jun..future docs..guess we r meeting up again during xmas party.
i created this blog few days ago, bt only started bloggin on this significant day..haha

SAT : received a sms fr ky at 3plus in the morning, which i got to know only when i woke up..which is a gathering at 11am..after breakfast then head over & meet up wif them..had a great chat since i dam long neva c ky edi..the nex time im seeing her shud b nex yr edi :D

so wheneva ppl ask me, wht hav u been doin lately..do i reply, gatherings?! bt i seriously do, rite?! i still hav few frens i wana meet up wif..still have time so no worries..hav 1 month plus b4 leaving:D & i will treasure every moment i spent wif my family & frens..

p/s : if u r reading this, & still haven seen me for months, shud turn up for the nex gathering k..

My US trip

It was an awesome trip..bt things got screwed up on the very 1st day itself..After a long journey of almost..14hrs(if nt mistaken), we finally landed at the L.A airport..every1 in our tour managed to pass thru the immigration except my family..the actual reason we got detained fr 40mins was unknown=.= most prob we r holding a msia passport & we depart fr Singapore..whteva it is, it gave me a bad impression edi..aiks..anyway, we had a city tour first, & i realised tht USA isnt as GREAT as i think bcoz..there r many homeless ppl around..pushing a trolley or their "mobile house", find a suitable place & they will just stay there..

Im really glad that i have a chance to have a look with the culture of other country..its simply different. To most of them, spend & enjoy first, save last..all the things r freaking expensive!! the food especially, & we got to keep giving them tips..coz its sort of like, compulsory..ohya, they eat a lot too!! each serving is like, super big..& there was once, we simply couldnt finish the food, & when left the table, i heard the ang mo saying : so wasteful..sigh..really cant finish, bt thts the serving they provide >.<
